Learners get motivated
Paul Steyn is an amputee who is currently walking 7 000km with a prosthetic leg to create awareness and raise funds
On Friday, November 20, staff and learners at St Gregory Primary School had the privilege of meeting Paul Steyn and his team from the Paul Steyn Foundation as they stopped by in Estcourt.
Paul Steyn is an amputee who is currently walking 7 000km with a prosthetic leg to create awareness and raise funds to provide disadvantaged amputees with prosthetic limbs.
His journey started in Cape Town and will pass through all the provinces to then return to Cape Town again. He gave a motivational talk to all the learners, and showed them that if you put your mind to it, you can achieve it.
The school thanks him and his team for stopping by and for inspiring everyone. The school wishes you all the best for the rest of your journey!
