Kwanele Mkhonza, a learner at Eqhweni Combined School has performed well in the Eskom International Science Expo for Young Scientists. The competition was held in Boksburg, Johannesburg from October 6-9.

Kwanele received a certificate and R1 000 for reaching the international phase of this competition. The school wishes to congratulate her on her excellent project. The school also wishes to thank Miss Magwaza, the Science Expo Co-ordinator, Mr Thabethe and Mrs Khumalo for spending time helping Kwanele with her project.

The Eqhweni Science Expo Committee wishes to encourage more learners to participate in the regional Expo for Young Scientists next year.
