Christmas party at children’s home
During the party, the little ones danced, played games and ate a lot of goodies
The Youth Light Organisation (YL) from Matiwaneskop held a Christmas party for the children of Siphuthando Children’s Home on Saturday.
YL aimed to make the children feel loved and make them aware that there are people out there who care. It was a fun-filled day enjoyed by all the children at the home, their caregivers and the YL members.
During the party, the little ones danced, played games and ate a lot of goodies. The YL organisation made sure that each of the 63 children received a Christmas gift.
A lot of talent was unearthed, as some of the Siphuthando children entertained their visitors with dancing, singing and poetry.
“I am very grateful to all the people who made generous donations in support of the presents and the party. Without these donations, there would not have been a party for the Siphuthando children, so thank you,” said YL chairperson Nsiki Ngobese.
