Not too sure how to keep the children busy during the festive season? Don’t stress about it, we’ve got you covered!
Here are our top 10 tips
1. Arts and crafts:
A child’s mind needs to be stimulated constantly. Art and crafts can help them get creative, and this could keep them busy for hours.

2. Swimming:
All children love the water. Whether it is a splash pool or the local swimming pool, your little ones can enjoy endless hours of fun in the sun.

3. Baking:
This will be a major winner with the children. There is nothing better for a child than spending time with mommy or daddy. Allow them to create their own shapes and flavour of biscuits or cakes, or even a yummy desert.

4. The zoo:
This will have your child jumping with excitement. Experiencing the different animals will be fun and also very educating for them.

5. Picnic in the park:
Pack a picnic basket with yummy sandwiches and a few treats and take the little ones on a trip to the park. They will enjoy the fun and the snacks too, and experience the peace of nature.

6. The beach:
Pack your bags and take a trip to the beach for the weekend. It will not only be fun, but a lifetime memory they will never forget.

7. Puzzles:
Jigsaw, blocks or word search, children love them! This could provide hours of entertainment for the whole family, especially if it’s a rainy day.

8. Go camping:
Whether it’s in the bush, by the dam or even in your own back yard. Set up a tent and take turns telling ‘scary’ stories by the campfire. The children will go wild for this idea.

9. Fishing:
This is especially exciting for your little boys. Get them a mini fishing rod and enjoy the joy on their faces when they catch their first fish.

10. Scavenger hunt:
Create a scenario. Bury ‘treasure’ in the backyard, draw a map and let the little ‘pirates’ find the gold. They will have a blast!
