Ramakrishna Subcentre opens its kutir’s doors
Last Wednesday marked a special day for the Ramakrishna Subcentre.
Last Wednesday marked a special day for the Ramakrishna Subcentre.
On the day, devotees celebrated the birthday of the Holy Mother, Sri Sarada Devi, and the official opening of the Ramakrishna Kutir.
His Holiness Srimat Swami Gautamanandaji Maharaj and Revered Swami Atmajnanandaji Maharaj from India, along with His Holiness, Swami Sumanasanandaji Maharaj, President of the Ramakrishna Centre of South Africa, officatiated the evening’s proceedings.
The Ramakrishna Kutir was officially inaugurated by His Holiness Srimat Swami Gautamanandaji Maharaj after devotees participated in a service dedicated to Holy Mother, Sri Sarada Devi.
A kutir is a building on the subcentre’s premises to accommodate visiting swamis.
Through generous donations of cash, building materials, sponsorships and physical work, the kutir was completed.
The committee of the subcentre expressed its sincere thanks and appreciation to all who contributed so generously.
