Hope in sight for little patch of road

Municipality confirms that road will be tarred.

It may be a road less travelled, but it’s still on the list to receive a revamp.

Resident’s living in the extension of Mosque Lane were left flabbergasted when their little piece of road was not tarred, despite the fact that the rest of Mosque Lane was done.

Residents complained that their little patch of dirt road, became very muddy during the rainy periods, making it difficult to get into or out of their properties.

When approached for comment, a member of the municipality confirmed that while the patch of road was not originally tarred, it would still get a revamp.

While they could not guarantee a time frame for when this would be done, they assured residents that the extension of Mosque Lane has not been forgotten.
