Old is gold in the Tooters Club

The Old Tooters Club held its prize-giving last Saturday at the old Monte Vista Casino.

Chairman, Eddie Honeyball, shed some light on the history of the club.

“Being a sub-section of the old Iscor Club, The Tooters was founded in 1979 and now boasts 46 members. You do not have to own a classic car to be part of the club; all petrol-heads who have a passion for vintage or sports cars, and appreciate the beauty of them are welcome to join,” he said.

Dressed to the theme of ‘vagabonds and tramps’, guests and members alike participated and aptly played their part.

Awards ranging from ‘Most Knowledgeable’ to ‘Most Dedicated Member’ were handed out to deserving individuals. Congratulations to all winners!
