Fundraising fun at Saturday’s craft market
A favourite amongst the children was the colourful cupcake decorating table where tons of fun was had creating an edible beauty
Arts and craft, delicious food, jewellery and haberdashery, clothing and bags…
There was something to tickle anyone’s fancy at the fundraising craft market held at the Methodist Church yard last Saturday. Locals browsed the 15 stalls and when purchasing an item, they were assured that they had a hand in supporting a fundraiser for two young women, Kendall Hodgson and Natasha Rivalland.
The duo has been selected to attend a World Youth Day celebration in Poland in July and Saturday’s market was a project to help finance plane tickets and other essentials.
Craft market organiser Sherlene Gericke said that although the turn-out was satisfactory, she would love to see more locals support the craft markets.
