Ladysmith matriculant Jenel Kumar loves shoes.
Countless women can agree with her that there appears to be some mystical power associated with buying shoes, and buying clothing in general.
Jenel is a shoe fanatic and goes crazy when she sees a lovely pair. “I just have to have them!”she exclaims.
Jenel has a wide variety of shoes in her collection, suiting various occasions, all of which she wears with pride.
From takkies to boots, sandals and high heels, Jenel has them all.
“I love matching my clothes to my shoes. Everything must match for me,” she smiles.
She has two cupboards devoted to storing all her shoes, as one filled up and there just wasn’t enough space anymore. When Jenel was a little girl, she used to model with her mom’s shoes, waiting for the day when she was old enough to have her own. Now she has no problem fitting into her mom’s shoes as well.
“I have a variety of brand shoes such as Guess, Sissy Boy and other names.”
Her favourite pair are the pink Stilettos she wore for New Year’s.
“I love shoes; they are definitely my best friend!”
To quote Marilyn Monroe: “Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world.” Jenel would agree!
