Prominent businessman dies of suspected heart attack

Tragic passing of local businessman and pilot

The sudden death of 52-year-old Shane Sinclair on Wednesday at his home has shocked the Ladysmith community to its core.

He was a well-known businessman and a member of the Ladysmith Flying Club, to name but a few organisations he was actively involved in.

He was well-known among building contractors, as he was a qualified inspector of roofing trusses.

His is survived by his wife, Estelle Sinclair, and their two children, Kyle and Kim.

His funeral will take place at the AGS Lofdal Church on Monday, starting at 11am.
