Mother-in-law, daughter-in-law arrested for alleged fraud
In-laws in a spot of bother with the law...
A 42-year-old woman was arrested by police this morning (Thursday) in connection with alleged fraud in a case involving over a million rand.
Charges have been laid against the 42-year-old by Emnambithi/Ladysmith Municipality.
In a bizarre twist of fate, her mother-in-law was arrested by police this morning as well, in a totally unrelated alleged fraudulent claim involving an insurance company.
The cases are not linked.
The two women being arrested on the same day appears to be pure coincidence.
Both women are expected to appear in court later today.
