Audi Centre Newcastle hosts its grand opening

Audi Centre Newcastle hosted its grand opening on May 12.

Guests were welcomed with cocktails, canapes and snacks catered by the Food Fairy. Artist, John Adams, was commissioned to paint the Audi building on the evening, while ballerinas from Jenny Devenish School of Ballet and the choir of Mntimande Primary School entertained guests through the evening.

Host for the evening, Ebrahim Docrat, welcomed the Mayor of Newcastle, Afzul Rehman, and the Mayor of Amajuba District Municipality, Jabulile Khumalo.

“On behalf of Audi Centre Newcastle, I extend a warm and special welcome to the Head of Audi South Africa, Mr Paul Sansom, Mr Asif Hoosen, Sales Director of Audi South Africa, and Mr Hassen Salie, Dealer Development Audi South Africa, and most of all, you, our esteemed guests.”

Omar and Abdus Docrat began the journey of the Four Rings with passion, desire and drive, in 1997.

Altogether 600 000 bricks, 180 tons of steel, 100 000 square metres of glass, the finest imported German material, the best of local talent, passion, sweat and tears, and of course a few Rands later, their passion for the Audi Premium Brand grew into what we see today, Audi Centre Newcastle.

The Audi Terminal is a Premium World Wide concept. It boasts a 17 New Car display, a world class Premium Pre-owned Showroom, a state-of-the-art Service Centre and a luxurious Audi Collection Boutique.

“Join us for the latest in Audi products and world-class customer service, as we start our new journey at Audi Centre Newcastle,” invited Mr Docrat.

 

Artist, John Adams performed a speed painting demonstration for the guests.

He completed the painting in a jaw dropping time of 11 minutes.
