Hearty soups support fundraising drive

Many braved the cold to attend the fundraiser and enjoyed socialising with friends and family over a bowl of delicious soup

All roads led to the Shepstone Place Home for the Aged and Frail on Saturday evening, June 4.

The Home hosted its annual Soup Evening in an effort to boost finances. Many braved the cold to attend the fundraiser and enjoyed socialising with friends and family over a bowl of delicious soup.

The evening was opened with prayer and thereafter Shepstone Place Chairlady Sheryl Lane warmly welcomed and thanked the attendees.

In an atmosphere of cheer; a variety of scrumptious homemade soups and breads were enjoyed. Drawing close to the end of the function, the winners of the raffles were announced and presented with great prizes.

The Home would like to thank all who played a role in organising the event and those who attended for contributing to the success of the evening.
