Scores of people made their way to the Forderville Primary School sports field on Saturday for the Winter Fair. This fundraising initiative was hosted by Rinesh and Mala Soorajlal, who say that the event was a great success.
During the day, locals were treated to an array of stalls with delicious food and great bargains. There was also pony rides and a jumping castle for the children, which were thoroughly enjoyed.
Car enthusiasts were also in for a treat with a variety of shiny vehicles on display. In the evening, the school hall came to life with the sound of music.
Popular South African DJs kept the crowd dancing from 7.30pm until 1am.
“People really enjoyed the Winter Fair and the music and said we should host it again. We would like to thank all our sponsors and the locals for their support,” said Mr Soorajlal.
