Political party vandalise Bergville CBD

Bergville locals were met with heaps of dirt, tipped waste bins and the contents from the bins set alight

Similar disruptive action broke out yesterday, (Wednesday, July 6) in Bergville Central Business District (CBD) as it did in Estcourt’s CBD.

Bergville locals were met with heaps of dirt, tipped waste bins and the contents from the bins set alight in the centre of the main street.

Leaving the CBD messy, noisy and surrounded by thick black clouds of smoke as well as a few confused residents.

The National Freedom Party (NFP)  members were seen carrying out the above mentioned acts. Alike vandalism and malicious damage to property, played out yesterday within the Estcourt CBD.

Some residents commented that the town was a ‘disgusting mess’ and that ‘the responsible people should pay for the clean-up’.

Later yesterday afternoon the mess was all cleaned up.

It is unclear at the moment whether the local municipality will take action against these political party members in question.
