The Weston debating teams have enjoyed a very good season, with both senior and junior teams achieving their half colours by June.

In the semi-finals and finals held at Weston on Thursday, August 11, the juniors proved their mettle by winning both the semis and the finals.

They are the winning junior team in the Midlands Debating League.

Themba Zaca, who has consistently achieved Best Speaker awards throughout the season, was awarded Best Speaker in both semi and finals. This is an outstanding achievement.

The senior team lost narrowly in the finals, after winning in the semi-final round. Well done on a really good effort.
