Dundee to host ‘Women’s Parliament’

Brace yourself for a slew of parliamentarians arriving in town this week

Dundee will this week host the KZN Legislature’s annual  Women’s Parliament.  The sitting will be done at the  Mpumelelo Sports field, Sibongile, on Friday and Saturday, August 26-27.

Women from all six political parties that are represented in the Legislature will participate in this event. The theme of the 2016 Women’s Parliament is: Women United in Moving South Africa Forward”.

This year marks the 60th Anniversary of the historic march to the Union Buildings in Pretoria by women of all races against discriminatory pass laws
