Spring beckons at Shepstone Place

The halls were bustling with activity as residents, staff and community members who were part of a Spring Hat competition readied themselves for the judges

Spring heralds bright colours, fun in the glorious sun and a time to shake off the winter blues.

This is exactly what happened at Shepstone Place Home for the Aged on Thursday, September 1. The halls were bustling with activity as residents, staff and community members who were part of a Spring Hat competition readied themselves for the judges, Lee Chase, Jenny Putterill and Alet Gericke. A difficult decision indeed for the judges who were obviously delighted by the colourful, quirky and beautiful hat creations.

The winners received gifts and their photos will be uploaded to the Shepstone Place Facebook page, where the public will vote for the overall winners.
