Financial boost for the senior citizens club

The club will utilise the funds for transportation of members and sincerely thanks everyone who supported their fundraising event

The Estcourt Senior Citizens Club received a sum of R12 500, which was raised during the Eastern Extravaganza held earlier this year.

The organising committee consisting of Ramika Peerbhay, Khadim Karrim and Ugan Chetty handed over the cheque to members last Wednesday. The delay of the cheque handover was due to unforeseen circumstances.

The club will utilise the funds for transportation of members and sincerely thanks everyone who supported their fundraising event.

If the public would like to assist with transportation of club members to their Wednesday weekly meetings at the Forderville Primary School hall between 12pm and 2.3pm, please contact Chairperson Mrs Nandhan on 036 352 3204 or Public Relations Officer Mrs Peerbhay on 036 352 5186.
