Pokémon Go not coming to South Africa?
It was suspected that the game would be released in all countries today, together with the Pokémon Go Plus wrist band, but this was not the case
The Pokémon Go rush has come and it has appeared to have left already.
The Pokémon Go game was released on July 6 in most parts of the world, but unfortunately it was not released in South Africa. Due to this, Ladysmith residents who had an interest in the game downloaded the APK.
After downloading the game, finding someone who had an interest in Pokémon Go was not difficult, as most people were at the Town Hall spinning the ‘pokéstops’. ‘Lure parties’ were held almost every Sunday.
However, these days, one does not see these Pokémon trainers anymore… The question is raised: Is it due to the fact that they have to play a ‘hacked’ version of the game?
Pokémon Go Plus was released today… It is a small device that one puts on one’s wrist that notifies one about nearby Pokémons. Although online stores show it is in stock and available in SA, Pokémon Go has not yet been released.
