Symphonies of success at Glencoe’s Spring Concert
Lovers of Indian music came out in numbers to partake in this fun-filled event.
Glenconians rocked the stage and displayed their on-stage versatility with a collage of musical classics from yesteryear and today. The concert was held as a fundraiser for Glencoe Primary (Violet) which is the foundation from which many of the artists stem from.
The principal and staff of the Glencoe Primary School (Violet Avenue), together with the organising committee of the ‘ Spring is in the Air’ show, extended their sincere appreciation to the community for their overwhelming support. The show was a tremendous success owing to the fact that live entertainment of this nature has become so scarce.
Despite the inclement weather, lovers of Indian music came out in numbers to partake in this fun-filled event. “The school is looking forward to support in all of their future endeavours”, said committee member, Geeta Singh.
