Orange Grove empowers workers
Mr Durham urged the workers 'to work with and to continually improve themselves by learning'.

One of the area’s most established companies, Orange Grove, has further empowered employees by putting them through a dairy processing course.
The course took the 30 or so workers, who took part, about eight months to complete.
Last week certificates were presented by Orange Grove’s chief executive officer, Dave Durham. Mr Durham urged the workers ‘to work with and to continually improve themselves by learning’.
“Think out of the box and do not be influenced by others… you must learn all you can about Orange Grove.”
He said that the qualification will open opportunities for workers to occupy the ‘highest positions in the company’.
Mr Durham said the course was organised by South African Processor’s Organisation. He thanked training development manager, Dr Bheki Sikhakhane and his team, including production manager, Anton Lee, for assisting with the training course that, among other things, focused on cleanliness and hygiene.
Dr Sikhakhane told the employees that success is a choice.
More courses are planned to further up-skill Orange Grove Orange Grove workers.
