Zinhle has a 25-hour day but still makes time to mentor young people

"Never undermine yourself because of current life challenges that you are facing, chase your dreams and allow them to drive you."

Bongisiwe Zinhle Khumalo is a 25-year-old model, university student, mentor and up-and-coming business lady. This dynamic lass is in her second year at the University of Zululand where she is studying co-operative management. She is a former YCLA branch deputy chairperson at the Richards Bay campus and co-ordinates the mentorship programme at the University’s faculty of commerce, admin and law.
Her business interests include being the secretary and director at First Time Farmers’ Primary Co-operative in Nquthu.
Her modelling career is also on the rise – she was registered with Trelique Modelling and Promotions Agency but now she has joined Famous Cosmic Black (FCB) Models in Durban. She is a Brand Ambassador for The Empire Groups Company in Dundee. She is one of the organisers for Miss Courier 2017, which will take place early in the new year. So, girls, make sure you are ready for that!

Her past titles include: Miss BeYourOwnKindofBeautiful 2016 and second princess in the Miss Face of Angel 2016 competition.
Besides having all that on her plate, Zinhle is currently organising a charity event for her community in Nquthu (Walk For Water Campaign) that will take place on Saturday, September 24, at Esibayeni Carwash in Nquthu. “The campaign is about encouraging people to save water, do some exercises and take good care for their bodies,” she said. If that is not enough, Zinhle has been nominated for the Miss Durban Colleges pageant in Durban on October 8. Her past titles include: Miss BeYourOwnKindofBeautiful 2016 and second princess in the Miss Face of Angel 2016 competition.
She has a diploma in promotions and also completed her new intro course at Trelique modelling and promotions agency. Looking at her journey, we asked her message to the young stars: “Never undermine yourself because of current life challenges that you are facing, chase your dreams and allow them to drive you.”
