Fraud gang nabbed in central Dundee

The suspects will be profiled to determine the number of cases they can be linked to.

Four Johannesburg men were arrested yesterday by Dundee detectives on charges of forgery and uttering.
The four were apprehended in central town after they had upgraded cellphone contracts, with a service provider, using fraudulent documents.

This comes after a crime intelligence-driven operation
Further investigation revealed that the suspects have been operating at Glencoe, Dundee, Newcastle and Ladysmith. Police seized a number of fraudulent documents includingiIdentity documents containing various photos. The suspects will be profiled to determine the number of cases they can be linked to.

They will be charged for corruption and will appear in court soon. The men were driving a vehicle with Gauteng province registration plates and are all from Johannesburg.
