A large number of wild animals escaped from Spioenkop Game Reserve on Monday (September 26) after speculation that the fences were cut by poachers.

Zebras and other wildlife were spotted on the Winterton road (R600).

Jabulani Mavundla, who is a driver at Spioenkop Game Reserve, has confirmed that the zebras have since been captured and are safely back in the game reserve.
