Cheers, it’s World Vodka Day (hick)!
Vodka is not just good for drinking, but has so many other uses as well

For those of you who enjoy the occasional drink but can’t seem to find the appropriate time, today is perfect because it’s World Vodka Day!
So pour yourself a shot (or two) of vodka, be it a martini or with lime and lemonade (very refreshing), and sip away as you read the following not-so-well-known facts about this “white spirit”:
- A teaspoon of sugar with a few drops of vodka helps keep flowers fresher for longer.
- Vodka is lighter than water. 1 litre of water weighs 1000 grams, while 1 litre of vodka weighs 953 grams.
- The most expensive vodka in the world, Billionaire Vodka, costs $3.75 million a bottle. It’s filtered through ice, Nordic birch charcoal and sand made from crushed diamonds and gems.
- Vodka soothes a jellyfish sting. It helps disinfect the wound and alleviate some of the pain.
- Ripping off a Band-Aid is a lot easier when it is soaked in vodka! The vodka helps dissolve the adhesive.
- Moisten a soft, clean cloth with vodka to shine chrome, glass and porcelain fixtures.
- Adding vodka to your shampoo is supposed to make your hair healthier and shinier.
So you see, vodka is not just good for drinking, but has so many other uses!
Also good to know: when drinking vodka, you get less fat than when drinking water!
So whether you’re taking off a plaster or keen on giving your hair that salon look, or just want to have a drink, VODKA is what is recommended for you today!
