A burst pipe under a building in the Plaza has left businesses in the area without water for a whopping 10 days.

There appears to be no end in sight for the beleaguered businesses in the area.

“We have been told it will take uThukela another week or two to fix the problem,” say some business owners in the area.

Promised water deliveries by tanker have not materialised, with only two deliveries since the ordeal started.

At the time of going to press, uThukela had not responded to questions asked.
