Angry Observation Hill residents are upset, as they are feeling the brunt of water restrictions.

In many cases staying within sight of the reservoir, they have no water despite uThukela’s promise that water will be pumped between 3pm and 8pm every day.

One resident complained that she had been without water for over 5 days.

The simple question on everyone’s mind is: When will things get better?

Sadly, the answer is: No time soon.

At the time of going to press, uThukela District Municipality had not responded to questions regarding why some areas were without water semi-permanently.
