Appreciation and celebration at Victory Chapel
It was a special day for both the pastors and the congregation
The congregation of Victory Chapel surprised their pastors, Stanley and Ruth Garridigan, with a well-planned programme of events at the church in Azalea Drive this morning (October 9).
The ‘Pastors Appreciation’ event was in honour of Pastor Ruth’s 60th birthday and the fact that the couple are celebrating 40 years of marriage.
The programme put on by the congregation included dances, poems and songs to show the pastors how thankful they are for all they do for the church.
The church was packed to capacity, with everyone wanting to share this special day with the Garridigans. Gifts and bouquets of roses were showered upon the pastors from the appreciative congregation.
Pastors Stanley and Ruth were extremely grateful and it definitely made their day special.
