BREAKING NEWS: Asiphephe Drive claims two lives
One patient was transported to hospital, but sadly succumbed to his injuries.

NEWCASTLE – A collision involving a light motor vehicle, carrying four occupants, claimed two lives on Asiphephe Drive last night at around 7.15pm.

According to unofficial sources, it was believed the vehicle was travelling from Keyway towards Albert Wessels Drive, when the car overturned before coming to a standstill in a field.
According to the source, one man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other three occupants were rushed to Madadeni Hospital for further medical treatment.
Sadly, another patient succumbed to his injuries, and was declared dead at the hospital, after attempts to resuscitate him had failed.
The other two patients were assessed and found to have sustained moderate injuries.

While the exact cause of the incident is unclear at this stage, authorities were on scene to conduct preliminary investigations.
