Buddyz host a great sports day

THE X-Buddyz and the Soul Buddyz of Impumelelo Yethu Primary hosted a great sports day at the Enkwalini Sports ground in Eastmine during the school holidays .
These Buddyz played against the Arsenal netball team from the local community.
The under 13 Soul Buddyz team won their match with 14 goals, while the X-Buddyz, calling themselves Superbase, also won their match against Arsenal with 35 goals.
The event was organised with the assistance of the youth leadership at Eastmine, and Mrs A Ndebele, who was also the Buddyz’ team manager.
The main purpose of engaging the youth in sport is to keep the children protected from violence and abuse, and to encourage the youth to exercise to keep themselves strong and healthy.
