Cracking Times at Time Trials
Clement ran after a long absence and he completed the 4km run event in a good time.
2km walk Ladies: 1st Vasantheee Naicker 17m16s.
2km walk Mens: 1st Puckree Naicker 17m16s.
2km Run Boys:1st Suheshan Soobramoney 11m35s (P.B).
4km Run Mens: 1st Clement Nelson 20m58s.
8km Run Mens: 1st Siphiwe Ndlela 27m16s; 2nd Ayanda Buthelezi 28m35s; 3rd Bongani Sabelo 29m43s; 4th Thokozani Phungula 29m56s; 5th Lindani Sangweni 34m32s.
Vasanthee and Puckree did well in the 2km walk event. Suheshan ran the 2km boys run event in another personal best time of 11m35s.
Clement ran after a long absence and he completed the 4km run event in a good time. The men’s 8km run event saw five top runners compete. Siphiwe ran an incredible time to finish first and is still unbeaten.
Ayanda took second place in a cracking time. In third was another consistent runner, Bongani, and not far behind was Thokozani and Lindani who also rounded up the field in fast time.
