DHS celebrate their top achievers
Congratulations to Zhen Lee Wang for achieving the prestigious title of being the Dux learner of DHS for 2016. Siphumelele was the Dux runner up.
DHS had their annual prize giving on October 20. It was an inspirational evening filled with many enlightening speeches from the guest speaker, Kevin Burge, Mr Haschke, Mr Devereux, Trishen Pillay and Siphumelele Gumede.

Culture:
Public speaking: The Carol Ann Roderick Memorial Trophy for public speaking was shared by Nomalungelo Mkhize, Trishen Pillay and Krushil Sewmangal. Zhen Lee Wang walked away with the Dawood Prize for the best English speaker in Gr 12.
The Bell Wade Memorial prize for an outstanding cultural achievement: Krushil Sewmangal for his Expo project.
