Motorist arrested after hitting pedestrian

A pedestrian was injured on the R103 bypass yesterday afternoon (October 26) after being hit by a car.

One vehicle was involved in the accident.

ER24, EMRS, Sharaj Ambulance Services,  Public Safety and towing services were on scene.

The driver was arrested for reckless driving and being under the influence of alcohol.
