SANTACO officials visit Vryheid

SANTACO officials visited Vryheid on Monday, October 24, as part of their community outreach project.

The South African National Taxi Council (SANTACO-KZN) has been hosting road shows in all regions of the province as part of an initiative created to recognise the tireless work of the industry as a business and service provider in society.

The main concern of these road shows is to recommend taxi drivers who have made a difference in the daily lives of taxi commuters, and maintained the position of taxi businesses, as true socio-economic role players in the communities they serve.

The road shows are also promoting the ‘Taxi-driver of the year’ competition, an initiative SANTACO believes will encourage drivers to improve their service to the public.
