Bruce Fordyce to kick off family fun-walk
There will also be a raffle for which you can buy tickets and stand a chance of winning great prizes
If you have the energy to take on 3km or 5km on foot, then make your way over to La Verna Hospital on Saturday (November 5) for a family fun-walk.
Registration starts at 12pm at La Verna’s visiting specialist parking. Marathon icon Bruce Fordyce will be at the registration and will be kicking off the fun-walk.
There will also be a raffle for which you can buy tickets and stand a chance of winning great prizes, including a weekend getaway for two sponsored by Tsogo Sun.
Registration fees are R10 for kiddies and R20 for adults.
All proceeds will go to Hospice, so it’s a walk for a good cause.
