Gambling to raise money for a good cause

The Ladysmith Gazette team held a fund-raiser for Toys for Joy at Great Bingo on Wednesday night last week.

Business people got together to enjoy a night of (you guessed it) playing bingo, with all proceeds going to charity.

The team, together with their invited guests, enjoyed a night of great gambling, good company, tasty snacks and refreshing drinks. A whopping R15,000 was raised for the Toys for Joy initiative. A heartfelt thank you to all the business people who came to support the night, as well as the staff and management of Great Bingo.

Toys for Joy aims to make Christmas a memorable one for those less fortunate through distributing food, clothes and toys to families in need.
