A ‘Principals Farewell’ function took place at the Crown Hotel recently.
Headmasters from other schools also attended to say goodbye to all the principals who have retired in Ladysmith.
The aim of the event was to remind everyone of the hard work and dedication exhibited by these principals throughout the years at the helm of their respective schools.
Speeches were made and photos put up on a screen projector to show the highlights of careers spent championing the education of our youth.
After a well-organised programme, a scrumptious meal was served to all who attended.
It certainly was a memorable event that brought the importance of our children’s education firmly into the spotlight.
