Over R8000 raised at Toys for Joy fund-raiser
The Ladysmith Gazette staff rattled their tins and asked for donations in front of Wimpy, at the petrol bowsers and the nearby traffic lights

The Ladysmith Gazette team, together with Sharaj Ambulance Services and Lancet Laboratories, gathered at Engen service station in Murchison Street on Saturday morning to raise funds for the ‘Toys for Joy’ campaign. This initiative sees toys and food being bought for underprivileged children in the Ladysmith area over the Christmas period.
The friendly Gazette staff in their blue shirts rattled their tins and asked for donations in front of Wimpy, at the petrol bowsers and the nearby traffic lights.
Their efforts saw R8800 being raised on the day!
A heartfelt thank you to all those who supported this worthy cause.
