Sleeping Beauty is a stellar success

Heart-warming support from the Estcourt community was evident on Friday and Saturday when dozens of people attended the Sleeping Beauty play hosted by Shepstone Place Home for the Aged players and friends.
On Friday and Saturday evening, locals were mesmerised by the spectacular performances on show by the cast. Shepstone Place committee thanks the producer Margie Haynes and the cast for their hard work and dedication.
The venue, the Moth Hall, was packed on both evenings and your support is appreciated.
The winner of the lovely wooden furniture raffle was won by Karina Potgieter.
The colouring-in competition winners are:
Age group: 3-5 years Melohuhle Vilikazi (Forderville Primary school). Age group: 6-8 years Calice Adam (Forderville Primary School). Age group: Aidah Rahman (St Gregory’s Primary School). The judges, Karin Veldman and Ross McDowell, had a difficult task of choosing a winner in this competition. Shepstone Place committee and residents would like to thank everyone involved in making Sleeping Beauty a huge success. Altogether R19 000 was raised for the Home.
