Local entertainment took a sharp turn and was changed up by a gear when the much anticipated Somgubha Festive Spin Bash finally arrived.

A long convoy of cars anxiously waited at the gates of Lambert Park on Friday, December 16 when the bash unfolded.

The park was packed with excited fans and fanatics of the sport. Spinsters from far, wide and even locals graced the tar patch with ‘donuts’ and other bold stunts.

Jes Towing, Sne and Team Bhuzuzu and son were just a few of the many spinners at the show. The entertainment did not stop behind the wheel, local DJ Mpiloz, DJ Ctha and New York’s Diego Sons rocked the decks.

The drizzles failed at dampening the high spirits. The fans, the thrill seekers and adrenaline junkies had loads of fun at the spin bash.
