Low scores but plenty of action in cricket league
In the T20 League, the games between Rebels and Ace Eagles and Paki Lions and Farmers were both rained out

The runs, unlike the rain, has not been plenty during the Umzinyathi Cricket Association’s league games.
In the T20 League, the games between Rebels and Ace Eagles and Paki Lions and Farmers were both rained out. In the Saturday 30 Over League, the game between Tigers and Farmers was also rained out.
There was plenty of action, however, in the games that did place.

T20 Night League – Umzinyathi vs Molls
Molls batted first making 143/9 from their allotted overs. Daniel top scored with 31 while Willem made 22.
The best bowler for Umzinyathi was Udeshan who took 3/25 while Mohammed took 3/27. Umzinyathi were bowled out for only 54 during their run chase. Mohammed top scored with 16 and Udeshan made 12.
Wilfred and Jan Frederik were in fine form with the ball, taking 3/3 and 3/8 respectively, as Molls picked up the victory.
Saturday 30 Over League – Molls vs Umzinyathi – Game reduced to 23 overs
Molls batted first and could only manage 80/7 in their 30 overs. Stephen made 19 not out and Brett made 16. Joey took 3/16 and Shervive took 2/17 as Umzinyathi were destructive with ball in hand.
However, their batting lacked firepower and they were bowled out for only 59. Mohammed made 17 and Rikesh made 13. Stephen took 3/7 and Jan Frederik took 2/9 as Molls did the double over Umzinyathi Development.
Ace Eagles vs Paki Lions
Ace Eagles batted first and made 157 all out. Waheed was impressive, scoring 62 and Labeeb made 28. Farouk took 2/25 and Ali took 2/29. In reply, Paki Lions won with 5 wickets and 9 overs to spare.
Farouk top scored with a brilliant knock of 82 not out while Hafeez chipped in with 28. Waheed took 3/28 and Imtiaz took 1/7.
