GALLERY: Old friends from across the world reunite at mass NHS and NSPS reunion

Friends rekindled relations at Lentevlei on Saturday.

Former learners of both Newcastle High School and Newcastle Senior Primary School gathered under a marquee, catching up on lost time from morning to evening.

Some travelled from across the world to attend the reunion.

Guests mingled before settling into a bring and braai in the afternoon, buoyed by live entertainment from Ruan Nel and introductions by the MC, Johann Marais.

Many commended the organisers on creating a lovely atmosphere.

As the evening drew to a close, learners expressed their unadulterated joy at meeting friends and teachers, and remembering the ‘good old days’ fondly.
