Saving lives one pint at a time

The SANBS team and the Clinic Co-ordinator SM Dawoonarain thank everyone who supported this worthy cause

Despite the cold and rainy weather last Thursday, locals set off to the Estcourt Town Hall to donate a pint of lifesaving blood, understanding that come rain or snow; patients nationwide need blood donations to survive.

Cedric Fook supported the monthly blood donor clinic.

The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) team assisted blood donors donate 49 pints of blood. 53 locals attended the blood clinic and three new blood donors were welcomed.

Delmaine Fook and Shubile Mazibuko make blood donations with the help of SANBS nursing staff.

The SANBS team and the Clinic Co-ordinator Mr SM Dawoonarain thank everyone who supported this worthy cause.

The next monthly blood donor clinic will be held on April 13 from 11am to 6pm at the town hall.
