Class of 1986, ML Sultan Glencoe Secondary, enjoy weekend of nostalgia

Mischievous acts in the classroom and on the playing field were recalled when the Class of 1986 reunited at ML Sultan Glencoe Secondary on Saturday.
A symbolic walk was undertaken in the blazing midday heat from the school around the Glenridge area by those who gathered at the school from Durban and around the country.
Later, the group toured their old school after which a trophy was presented to the school in memor of five 1986 matric students who have since passed on. These are Sudesh Mathuraparsadh, Sanjay Kalicharan, Sungeetha Kalicharan, Vickesh Beharie and Shanti Anoop Rajkumar.
The past matrics remembered the senior citizens of the town and fed them lunch at the school before gathering in the evening at the ABH Home for a form reunion dinner.
