Be part of the youth career development festival
The festival is aimed at allowing local youth to showcase their talent and this would mean a platform to be recognised by industry professional

Here is what the youth of Estcourt can expect during youth month (June). The youth from Chase ELM and Swagg Nations hope to host two festivals.
The first will be held on June 14, at the Wembezi Stadium and the other on June 16 at Lambert Park. The festival is aimed at allowing local youth to showcase their talent and this would mean a platform to be recognised by industry professionals.
Here is where the career development part comes into play – grade 12 students within the Inkosi Langalibalele Municipality will have the opportunity to be addressed by motivational speakers and consult with career guidance counsellors as well as university students.
The fest will also see sport tournaments, local DJ’s and artists who will perform role plays, recite poetry and much more. Stalls will display products from aspiring entrepreneurs, ranging from food and beverages to clothing and crafts.
Celebrity performances can also be expected. This youth-centered festival will see education; sports, youth empowerment, arts and entrepreneurship become a social experience not to be missed.
The organisers feel that the launch of this festival will encourage a spirit of entrepreneurship and fill in the gap of constructive leisure to the benefit of the community.
