Growing demand for eye clinic

Due to the large number of people who require eye testing, the Estcourt Sai Centre is planning another clinic in September

Members of the Estcourt Sai Centre welcomed locals to the eye testing clinic that was held on Sunday.

Local optometrist Angela Plows was on hand to conduct the eye tests, while members of the centre’s team dispensed glasses and assisted with the paperwork.

Adhil Ramuthar helped with the eye testing.

88 people attended the free clinic and 53 were examined.

Due to the large number of people who require eye testing, the Estcourt Sai Centre is planning another clinic in September.

Urvashni and Kiana Pillai helped with the admin work.

“We would like to thank the officials from the Sathya Sai Medical Centre (eye clinic team) and Angela Plows for helping to make the clinic a success,” said Mr K Pillaye from the Estcourt Sai Centre.

These little ones waited patiently while their parents had their eyes tested.

He reminds locals to support the centre’s blood donation clinic, which will be held on June 25 from 10am until 2pm in the Forderville Primary School hall.
