PICS: NAON hosts a fitting tribute to mothers

The New Age of Newcastle (NAON) hosted its Mother’s Day function on May 6 at the Majuba Training College Hall.

Mothers dressed up in their best, and showed off their fancy sides on the special day.

Minority Front former Member of Parliament (MP), Vimmi Ramdaas, delivered the key note address and wished all mothers a happy and joyful Mother’s Day.

Various sponsors rallied together to make the day a success, with businesses and individuals contributing to this spectacular function.

“We appreciate all the help received in cash and kind,” said Veena Singh, NAON Secretary.

Guests were entertained by dancers from Aja Nachale NN Entertainment.

The event concluded with a scrumptious meal, and lucky mothers received gifts.
