Weather clears for the Bowls Business League
The skies cleared on Tuesday afternoon, as if to welcome all the Bowls Business League players.
AFTER four days of cold conditions, with most welcome rain, especially prior to the winter, the skies cleared on Tuesday afternoon to welcome all the Bowls Business League players.
Van Eeden Electrical surged ahead and consolidated their top position on 227 points. Natal Plumbers, after an excellent win, have climbed to second position on 209 points. Volkswagen slipped to third position on 200 points and Pro5 to fourth on 197 points.
“Come on, Paul and team, take an afternoon off from the plumbing/building, put in that extra practice and chase down Van Eeden Electrical. Only 18 points separate the two of you at the top of the log.”
One of the keenly contested games of the evening was between Abaqulusi Spar and Pick ‘n’ Pay. The game was played with tremendous spirit and comraderie and the scores were very even for the whole match, with Abaqulusi Spar emerging victors by only two points. Our grateful thanks and appreciation to these two businesses who provide delicious eats after the games each evening.
