Blood donors help exceed the monthly target

Locals heeded the appeal for blood donations, knowing that during the winter months the blood supply reaches low levels

The South African National Blood Services (SANBS) team was pleased with the turnout of donors at their monthly blood donor clinic hosted last Thursday at the Estcourt Town Hall.

Locals heeded the appeal for blood donations, knowing that during the winter months the blood supply reaches low levels.

The target was set at 67 pints. During this month’s donor clinic 80 attendees visited and 77 pints of blood were donated.

The SANBS team and Blood Clinic Co-ordinator Mr SM Dawoonarain, would like to pass humble salutations to all the donors who supported the worthy cause.

They further wish all the youth a happy Youth Day and all the fathers a blessed Father’s Day.
